Workshop

Workshop training for members

The Project Group has secured funding from the Government's Access to Volunteering Fund, administered by the Arts Council, to develop a programme of inhouse training for members who want to be involved in leading and assisting in running workshops for external and internal groups.

The programme will be run through 4 separate one hour sessions covering the basics of workshop delivery:

  • planning and preparation
  • dealing with people
  • health and safety issues 
  • knowledge and skills to pass on 

When completed, the training will give members a framework to enable them to run workshops more confidently and competently.

The training programme will be repeated so that it can be offered to all members who wish to participate.
